What does this solver compute?

A chip-EV push/fold equilibrium for the exact table you configure: every seat may open-shove or fold, and after a shove the players behind may call or fold (up to three players in the pot, with correct side pots for unequal stacks). The engine is the same CFR core we validate cell by cell against the solver-generated charts on this site.

When is push/fold the right model?

Below roughly 15 big blinds effective, equilibrium preflop play is dominated by shoving and calling shoves, and pure push/fold is a very good approximation. Deeper than that, small opens and 3-bets matter, so treat the output as a shove baseline.

Does it use ICM?

No — ranges are chip-EV. The optional tournament risk premium reproduces what tournament charts apply: going all-in is charged about 1–4% extra of the stack (more when short), which tightens calls the way real tournament solutions do. It is not a payout-structure ICM model.

Why do results vary slightly between runs?

The solver runs a fixed number of CFR iterations. Hands that are close to indifferent at equilibrium can settle at slightly different mixed frequencies — their EV is the same either way.
